Mary Quinn Hot Shop

Mary Quinn is a glass and print artist inspired by the natural world, especially insects and their ecosystems. Based in Seattle, Mary’s work uses humor to explore human relationships and our place within nature. She works in printmaking and blown glass, focusing on process and learning through making. Recently, she has begun incorporating sculptural glass to more directly express the conceptual ideas at the core of her work. Within glassblowing, she emphasizes the collaborative and playful nature of the process while utilizing bold colors and a multitude of techniques.
