The Kinetic Lens ♿

October 17 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Free

The Kinetic Lens is a collaborative activation featuring Eunsun Choi and her engineering partners. This session invites participants into the “black box” of the Mouseness ecosystem to explore the hidden intelligence behind the glass. This activation is a deep dive into the synthesis of glass craft and sensory electronics.

Artist Bio: Eunsun Choi is a South Korean-born multidisciplinary artist and DXARTS Ph.D. candidate at the University of Washington who integrates autonomous technology with conceptual sculpture. Her internationally exhibited practice, including solo shows at 4Culture and the Seattle Art Fair, interrogates social power dynamics through the lens of material alchemy and robotic systems. A recipient of the NYSCA/NYFA Fellowship and a veteran of prestigious global residencies, Choi’s work pushes the boundaries of how immersive environments translate marginalized historical narratives.
