Rooted in 20th-century Swedish glass traditions—especially those of Orrefors, Transjö Hytta, and Kosta—my work combines technical precision with a unique combination of natural motifs and visual storytelling. Text and symbolic imagery are central to my practice, allowing me to explore emotional and political narratives within the formal rigor of techniques like Graal and Ariel.
Seattle Artist Matthew Stern will be showing his blown glass pieces at Pratt's Fusing Studio on Saturday, October 18th 2:00 – 5:00pm.
Seattle Artists Jason Christian and Dan Friday will be showing a hotshop demo on October 18 (Sat) at the Pratt Hotshop.
