Seymour Stained Glass ♿

October 18 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

Free

Karen Seymour finds that working with glass allows her to give functional form to the color and light she finds in nature. She has been teaching her glass-on-glass appliqué process for over 20 years and has written a couple of books on it. Getting a kiln in 2013 allows her to also explore kiln-forming techniques. How different temperatures can be used to create different textures is a recurring focus in her work. She currently volunteers with the Pacific Northwest Glass Guild.
