Karen Seymour finds that working with glass allows her to give functional form to the light and color she finds in nature. She created her first stained glass table in 1998 and then all her friends wanted one too. She has been teaching the process for over 20 years and has written a couple of books on it. Getting a kiln in 2013 allowed her to add fused tabletops, mirrors, vessels, and lamps to her portfolio. She currently serves on the board of the Pacific Northwest Glass Guild.
