Open Artist Studio: Jason Christian Glass ♿

Visitors will see the wonders of a small studio in a residential neighborhood. They will get a chance to see me create vessels like my Yo-yos and dragons. They will also be able to walk around and see my finished work around the studio. 

As an artist, it is only natural to be influenced by your surroundings. As a native to the Pacific Northwest, I live in the beautiful city of Seattle, surrounded by nature and the diverse people that reside within it. I have been a member of the Northwest glassblowing community for the last twenty years and I have not only been surrounded by the thriving creatives from the area but also numerous international artists who have come to share their techniques and culture. As a result, my work is an amalgamation of all these things. It is diverse in theme, function and rooted in object making.
