Located in Seattle’s first artist-owned live/work co-op, Cappy’s studio is full of her art, folk art, and the art of friends. She has been painting on glass for more than 40 years–first focusing on stained glass, then vessel forms, followed by large public art installations and currently reverse-glass wall paintings. Her work is narrative, inspired by world myth, culture, spiritual traditions, and autobiography.
In addition to the works on view in her studio, there will be something in process on light tables that will give you a view into how the work gets made.
