Kiln-forming, often called warm glass, is an affordable way for the home studio artist to manipulate glass. But each piece takes days rather than minutes to complete. This is not meant to be a class in kiln-forming but rather a broad overview using examples of both finished and in-process pieces to show you the constraints and path choices available to an artist. Our goal is to help give you more informed eyes when you appreciate a piece of kiln-formed glass art.
This free demonstration is offered as part of the educational mission of the Pacific Northwest Glass Guild (PNWGlassGuild.org)
