Pilchuck Glass School Exhibition: Out of the Woods
Out of the Woods brings Pilchuck Glass School’s Stanwood campus to Seattle in an exhibition that explores the legacy of Pilchuck’s artistic and educational mission through notable selections from the collection, recent acquisitions, and new work by current staff members. These works highlight the collaboration, innovation, and community that is at the heart of Pilchuck’s artists-teaching-artists ethos.
Artist Bio: Works from the collection will include pieces made at Pilchuck by Dale Chihuly, Erwin Eisch, Gretel Eisch, Fred Kahl, Joey Kirkpatrick, Flora Mace, Isgard Moje, Klaus Moje, William Morris, Pike Powers, Richard Royal, Randy Walker, and more.
Pilchuck Glass School is staffed by artists who are continuing the school’s mission. Out of the Woods will feature recent works by Jason Elliott (Operations Supervisor), Michael Endo (Artistic Director), Raya Friday (Outreach & Education Supervisor), Tyler Gordon (Studios Manager), and Justin Parisi-Smith (Facilities Manager).
